A Clean Workstation
As you cook and bake your countertops become crowded and dirty dishes and utensils pile up in the sink. One solution is an assistant to keep your work area clean and clutter free. We know that only happens on TV though. So for those of us at home we either have to bribe a family member to do it or we do it ourselves.
Several suggestions may help:
- utilize storage containers and packages for utensils like a knife block
- keep pots and pans in a kitchen rack out of the way but still handy
- use small appliances that keep a compact footprint but still do the job
- once you reach a natural break point in preparing your meal do a small clean up of your work area.
